About the practice & Mikyji
Yin is the art of stillness. We settle into floor-based shapes for 2–5 minutes, using breath and props to gently stress connective tissue and invite release. Sessions weave mindful attention, spacious pacing, and nervous-system down-regulation so you leave grounded and clear.
Mikyji is one of the leading Yin Yoga teachers in Australia and among the first to incorporate mindful practices for the Australian audience more than two years ago. Currently offering courses and workshops online, Mikyji presents a diverse range of workshops and training courses, including an online 6-week wellness module that can be undertaken without prerequisites.
Training & lineage: Bachelor of Psychological Studies; 200-hour foundational teacher training completed in Goa, India; a 14-day intensive at the Sivananda Ashram; ongoing study integrating self-inquiry, slow mindful movement, embodiment, energetic refinement, and meditation with an emphasis on mindful awareness.
